Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II

The girl had a huge disappointment. I wasn't a huge fan of Harry Potter series, while the girl was a a total opposite of me. However, because of her, I sort of turn into a Harry Potter fan, or let's just say, I'm a fan of Hermoine. She's hot isn't it. Emma Watson rocks.

Watching the world premiere of the last Harry Potter, it kind of hit me a little to know it will end, literally. I like the whole concept on how the the last movie of Harry Potter series was marketed, it's literal yet holds a great inner meaning.

Seats were released for booking one week prior, in conjunction with the middle of screening of Transformers. However, our pact of watching it in Platinum Suites were kind of dashed when seats released were almost immediately snatched. Oh gosh. It came to a point where we had to choose between watching it FIRST or watching it with comfort (@ Platinum Suites).

Nevertheless, we decided to wait for a better timing for Platinum Suites and so, it finally arrived.

Our first time experience at Platinum Suites was a below expectation one. Probably because we were comparing it heavily with GV Gold Class. Nevertheless, the entire pre movie up until post movie experience was rather exclusive. We also got ourselves into the first 5000 who experience Platinum Suites and got ourselves a membership card each. Hurray to FREE Platinum Suites experience on my Birthday!!

The movies, throughout, detailed links to the previous series, which provides a greater realm of the phrase "everything happens for a reason". I prayed hard that I won't find spoiler through social media, even though as much as I guessed it, I know what's going on. Nevertheless, definitely an awesome movie, though I would especially love the statues to be much more powerful. And one last thing I must mentioned, how funnily they 'paint' the main cast with their '19 years later' faces.

And so...finally...it all ends. Masterpiece indeed.

Girl: Ever since I watched the 1st episode of Harry Potter on movies, I then became a fan of the series. Yes, it all started from the movie. Thereafter, I landed my hands on the 7 hardcover books with at least 400-500 pages (or more) in each and NEVER was I bored with the intriguing storyline and suspense. I still strongly strongly encourage the boy to read the book even though it may seem taxing, but it covers a lot more detail and depth in terms of every character development in the story. I myself am gonna embark on the last book once again.

I was initially very afraid that the finale will disappoint me, something which a harry potter fan will NOT allow. The platnium suite was a good experience, service was one notch higher than gold class but i personally prefer gold class for its seating arrangement, distance between screen and seats and in terms of comfort.

So glad to say that it didn't disappoint me at all, even though i expected more emotional portrayal from Snape's death. It seemed too sudden and brutal. Other than that, an epic finale with awesome sound effects and music. I think the music did the movie a great justice. I'll miss Potter and gang and their magical school. & I'm pretty sure it's a 8 part movie that I'll watch over and over again till I grow old.
