I thought it'll be below expectations because Hop the movie also adopted the same animations + human kind of filming style and it was cheesy max. But the smurfs was appropriate and adorable, I love how they sang to the tune of "la la la la la la, sing a happy song!" and each smurfs being named after their personality, very cute and endearing as well. Even though there's many cute smurfs out there, I still prefer papa smurf for his loving persona and calm temperament. Especially his cute fluffy white beard. I'm smurfing downloading that ringtone!
