Real Steel

After many good reviews, we decided to find out why ourselves. Purposely booked a late slot so that our dinner can be beautifully appreciated. That aside, Hugh Jackman was an awesome guy. I vividly remember him from X-Men as a Wolverine and since then, a deep impression of him, with his antics as well as impressive acting skills.

The real deal here, is definitely the robot. Little would one guessed that such a 'technical' movie is able to draw emotions running. The father-son 'turmoil' actually got the audience engaged in a fairly emotional state, that even girlfriend teared on several occasions.

Hugh Jackman must once again be applaud for his remarkable acting, depicting his role as a 'out of luck' boxer extremely well. The junior, on the other hand, looks wise and smart at his age. I must say both of them hit off quite well on screen as the telepathy looking weavingly perfect, which allows them to deliver such nice emotion evoking movie amidst the actions. And oh ya, not forgetting the robots, which look so darn cool, apart from that weird looking Japanese robot with weird ugly chinese characters written on it. On a whole, finally a perfect movie in my opinion has hit Singapore. Awesome.
